Visiting Mallorca in the winter is an absolute tonic. The days offer a much gentler heat ideal for making the most of the many walking trails that criss-cross the dramatic craggy mountains of the Serra da Tramuntana. Cycling is also a popular pass time as the suns rays cool, with scenic cycling routes suitable for the novice through to the adventurer. The days are still punctuated by the fishing fleet returning with their bounty and a waterside table is easy to secure in the quaint fishing ports to enjoy their daily delicacies. It's an ideal time to lose yourself in the pretty Palma streets maybe stopping for coffee at Ca'n Joan de s'Aigo, the oldest cafe in town and then at golden hour, perhaps with a local vermouth in hand, take a moment to celebrate Mallorca in the low season, wondering why more people aren't in on this well kept secret.
